The Flaming Lips - Do You Realize
This is funny because I’ve never been that into The Flaming Lips. Not because I think they’re bad, just because they seem to be part of a music movement that people my age experienced in college (like Ben Folds) and because I didn’t have a normal college experience I totally missed it. I even went to see them New Years 05 at MSG with Wilco and their show sorta blew my mind. The fact that it happened almost 5 years ago blows my mind even more. Anyway, that was a good night and this is a good song.
Representing Oklahoma, making me proud. Also, the DVD of their Zoo Amphitheater is quite amazing, but not as amazing as it was to see it in person. But if you weren’t there, check it out.
